The Codex

GENERAL
- By commissioning me, you confirm you are at least 18 years old or have parental permission.
- I reserve the right to refuse any request for any reason, particularly if it does not align with my artistic style, brand identity, or current workload.
- My work primarily focuses on Dark Fantasy, Creature Design, and Semi-Realism. Please ensure my style fits the aesthetic you are looking for before requesting.

PAYMENTS
- All prices are in USD
- 100% payment is required upfront. Partials can be granted to repeat commissioners or large scale commissions. But no work will begin until payment is complete.
- Payments are handled securely through VGen, PayPal or Stripe.
- PLEASE NOTE: Complex characters will incur a 20% additional fee.

REFUNDS
- A full refund is only available if I have not yet started the initial sketch.
- If the sketch phase has been started or delivered, a 50% refund may be issued at my discretion.
- No refunds will be issued once the final rendering phase has begun.
- If I am forced to cancel the project due to personal emergencies, a full refund will be issued immediately.

COMMUNICATION
- All professional communication must stay within VGen, the platform you contacted me through, or Discord.
- I do not respond to commission-related inquiries via personal email, Instagram, or DMs on other platforms.
- Harassment, demanding immediate updates outside of standard communication, or unprofessional conduct will result in the immediate cancellation of the commission without a refund.

REVISIONS
- You are entitled to two (2) minor revisions during the initial sketch phase of the project.
- Once the sketch is approved and I move to the final line art or rendering phase, further revisions will incur additional fees based on the complexity of the change.
- Redrawing the entire piece from scratch because of a change in concept is not a revision and will require a new commission.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
- I, the artist, retain all intellectual property rights to the artwork, including the right to display it in my portfolio, on social media, or for promotional purposes.
- The client may not claim the artwork as their own creation.
- The artwork may not be used to train, generate, or feed into any AI/LLM models under any circumstances.

DEADLINES AND DELIVERY
- Standard turnaround time is 14 to 30 days, depending on the complexity of the piece and my current schedule.
- You will receive a high-resolution PNG file upon completion.
- Rush Orders: If you require a strict deadline of less than 7 days, a rush fee will be applied to your custom proposal.

USAGE
- Personal Use: You may use the artwork for personal profile pictures, social media headers, TTRPG character tokens, and personal prints. Credit to Tsushima is always required.
- Monetized/Commercial Use: If you intend to use the art for monetized streaming (e.g., Twitch/YouTube assets) or physical commercial merchandise, you must explicitly declare this and select the appropriate license fee in the request form.
